This is the first time that I use the "red window" on my Voigtlaender Bessa II with Rollei PAN 25 film.
After the arrow rolled by, some time later, this appeared in the window.
It could be a '1' but I recall that other films would have a clearer number showing, using an unmistakable '1'...
Yeah, the shutter is in pretty good shape, other than perhaps the 1/200 and 1/400 being too slow.
When I got it, the shutter curtain was full of holes, but I took a chance on it, and patched the curtain with liquid tape. That method works well.

So... first roll is back, and I have quite some issues to fix.
1. there are light leaks.
2. the film loading was messed up, the first frame taken at 30% into the roll, missing the last 3 images or so. I had wound the spool until I saw (1) in the frame counter, too deep into the roll. Not sure...
If you are open to large format, in the early 1900s, soft-focus lenses were en-vogue for that “painterly look.”
