    Stop Bath.. How important?

It looks like I don't need to prod this (my favorite thread) to keep it going. In all seriousness, when I posted this thread ... 20 years ago? I was mostly clueless and really needed the information. Now I kinda know what to do. That being said, I have a neighbor with a high school-aged kid...

Should I buy another film camera?

exactly. Emphasis on "easily". Really. Otherwise, don't Cheap thrills aren't cheap. They are wisely inexpensive. If this camera makes you happy and you can easily afford it, dowit. Caveat: Years down the road, you'll look at a closet full of fun and wonder why you have so many cameras. At...

Mick, that's awesome that you two have done it. So many couples don't last even 7 years. And yeah, the portrait does indeed reflect her personality.

In your opinion, what are the best non-Leica rangefinders ever built?

After a couple of weeks with my Konica IIIa, I am beginning to to think I've found the best RF. Keep in mind, I have a Leica M6, Canon P, Voightlander RS (is that the model?... the Cosina creation), Fuji Compact Deluxe... and many more. I love the ergonomics of that left hand film advance...

Naming your images on the gallery

All titles can be good and fun ... as long as "The " isn't the first word. As in "The school bus". Really? That's the school bus? There aren't others? The yellow bus like thing in my neighborhood that swallows up children every morning isn't a "school bus"? Gosh, no point in taking a picture...

I lost ALL of my darkroom gear in my move - but now it's found again!

I developed the first four of the 17 missing rolls tonight. What a pleasure to be back in the routine. All the muscle memory is still there and my technique is still solid. All four rolls look good. 13 more to go.

I will be taking delivery of a IIIa tomorrow so will take note of the "Konica IIIa surprise" and your reaction to the surprise.

By the way, as I was reading Matt's suggestion about renaming the thread, I was listening to Peggy Lee and her recording "It's all over now". The lyric that I heard as I was reading this thread was "... happy ending". Coincidence? I think not.

Yep, "Even a photographer can have a happy ending!" or something like that.
