I ended up driving there, and managed to be allowed to entered. The technicians are all the same as before. It is just a thick layer of corporate mudd to get through. It would be nightmare if I lived abroad. Once inside thou, they are all super nice. And I like the products a lot.
It's just...
Im sorry to write this but im so frustrated, so lets get some steam out.
I got 2 Hasselblad scanners, and some older cameras. I live 20 min away from the head office of Hasselblad in Sweden. Formally I have always been able to drop of my scanners to service. Talk to the technician, or sellers...
Lot of good idas and inputs. Thank you all. I will continue thinking. Maybe its clever to do the small room as a wet room for the smaller prints. And keep the large prints to the bigger space, closer to the larger ra-4 developer.
Maybe one of these.. I prefer the A1, since the L1840 can also do vertical, maybe it would be a bit of a waste to use in part C of the space. And for tray developing ofBlack and white it would make sense as well.
Thanks.
Im not sure how much throwing distance I need for a 120x150 exposure when doing horizontal exposures. Im calculation max 3 m for a 4x5" or bigger original. That would make it possible to use the small room for the 1840, and the vacuum wall. Then the large low space for a long wet bench...
Hi.
Im going to build a dark room ( 35 m², 367 ft² ish) and thought, that since a lot of people here, knows more then I do, it might be a good idea to ask how to do it. Im mainly thinking of workflow and placements of machines.
Lets assume I got a unlimited budget for this.
So far the idea of...
Yes, they would have been nice. But i cant even imagine the shipping costs.
A maze is a good solution. And two doors in a row also works, or curtains. But We already have a large dual door for bringing machines and materials. This would be a space optimized solution for personal entrance only...
At 4000 GBP for a used revolving door it's a bargain.... or not.
Ive tried contacting Richards without success. I wonder how many of these companies that still are manufacturing new ones. According to the webpage they are made in Denmark by The "Refrema" Rotary Door comapany. But they...
You have no idea how many times Ive heard that building my darkroom. For (add any number between 1-20) years ago I could have given you (Add any imaginable cool machine) for free...
It helps when being multiple people using the same space. And there is no accidental light spills from...
Well. I clean all scans at 120% magnification. There is a nice set of shortcuts in photoshop for jumping one full screen in every direction. step right, step down, step left, step up. That way I can check the whole image methodically without having to scroll, or move by hand and rik missing...
I just bought a Heidelberg 7000 unit and will install it in a few weeks. But I am scanning a lot of film using two Imacon 949 scanners. With batch attachment they are extremely fast, and makes very detailed and nice scans. I scan in 16 bit full covering .FFF format, and then just rename them as...
