A Yashica Lynx 14e, cheap from a flea market.
Shutter works great, but rangefinder does nothing. Something to tinker with when the weather is bad.
Got two cameras as a gift from a good friend. A Beier Beirax II (Mod. 1955) 6x9 folder with 4.5x6 mask and an unknown 9x12cm plate camera (see pics)...
A Yashica Electro 35 G from a flea market. I fixed the "pad of death", cleaned the rangefinder, printed a battery adapter and it works.
Only the shutter blades do not open fully. What can I do?
Since I last wrote here, many packages have arrived.
I received a grip, an original shoulder strap, a 55mm lens and two 🙈 150mm lenses for my Kowa Six.
A developing tank, a film change bag, bottles, funnels etc.
Then a Bronica ETRC (many thanks again to absalom1951🙂), a speed grip, prism...
It is alive. The needle hangs a little, but with a little pat it moves to the (more or less) suitable position. If I press both buttons, it shows me whether the battery still has sufficient voltage.
Now I have to see if I can get rid of the hanging somehow.
The only picture I found of the light...
Thanks for the links. Very informative.
On the page I linked, you can see the light meter on the 2nd picture.
What kind of button cells were sold in the sixties? The "usual" mercury battery does not fit in this light meter. It has too large a diameter.
I looked further and found out that the light meter is an accessory for the NICNON binocular camera.
The cameras have three exposure times: 1/60, 1/125 and 1/250. These are also the only ones on the light meter.
Let's see if anyone else comes forward with information.
On this page you can see...
I bought a light meter at the flea market today. It looks very smart on my Kowa. Unfortunately, I can't find any information on the Internet. I can only find binoculars with a camera under the name "Nicnon".
Does anyone know this light meter and have any information about it?
Which battery goes...
Three filters with 67mm thread (red, yellow, yellow-green) for the Kowa Six, one filter with 49mm thread (variable gray filter), I don't have a lens for it yet.🙈 The first filters I ever bought. Now I have to learn when to use which filter.
A foldable rubber lens hood for the Flexaret (not in...
Picked up a film from the lab today.
Meopta Flexaret IVa, film is an Ilford Pan f Plus 50ASA.
Twelve three-quarters of twelve pictures were taken. 🙈
The frame counter was stuck and only started counting after the 5th frame. That's why there was almost a whole picture more.
Yes, parts and accessories are hard to find. It's nice to be able to build up such a network.
German customs let all our parcels from China through without having to pay, but I always have to pay customs on parcels from the USA or UK.🤨
I also have a shipping address in the USA in case someone...
Thank you for the offer. Unfortunately, I am not yet allowed to write private messages or reply in the classifieds.
I have to write 20 posts before I can do this(I think).
Not so easy for me, either I can help, but there were quite a few faster than me or I have no idea.🤔
Update: since the...
Thanks for the picture. Let's see if I can still find something like that. It is the case with many good things that production is discontinued and the subsequent product is worse or doesn't exist.
By the way, very nice pictures!
