I never even knew there was such a thing until I couldn't fit the film into my 35mm camera. I thought I got sold a dud. Then I noticed it said "APS" on the label, so I searched online to find out about it and read the story. Fascinating story actually. Funny how it never caught on, while the...
Hi all,
I accidentally bought 2 rolls of APS film thinking it was normal 35mm film. Now I want to use them up so I'll buy a little APS camera. Can someone tell me if the APS photos have the numbers on their edges after they get developed? Because online I see a lot of the APS photos have the...
Ok, thanks both.
I'll give it a try with the aperture set to A on the lens next time. I probably accidentally moved the setting to something else why focusing the lens, but the A setting stays locked in place which is good.
I had the aperture on the lens set at 1.8 the whole time.
I'm not sure exactly which Kodak 400 it was. Here's a photo of the film canister. I don't know what the expiry date was.
I had them developed at a local photo developing shop where they do film development and printing etc.

Hi Everyone,
I recently bought a cheap old Canon T50 SLR point and shoot camera. It's a really old thing, but I enjoyed using it. Unfortunately, the camera doesn't have the settings and ability for me to adjust ISO, aperture or anything really. I took 32 photos with my first film roll - Kodak...

Hi everyone,
I'm not an expert with film cameras. I just bought an old Canon EOS 500 body, and it came with some pieces that I'm unsure about. I would be grateful if you could please see attached photos and let me know what these items are and how to use them.
Hi, thanks for the feedback. You're right, that bright blue background that I was using is not for everyone. The purpose of my website right now is mainly just for me to practice web design and learn some HTML, CSS and Javascript. I know it's more efficient and better to showcase my work on...
Hi Jvo, thanks for your message.
I've decided to start with white font on a darker background for contrast and because it's easier for my eyes as my eyesight isn't great (looking at a white computer screen for too long gives me headaches). But what I'm planning to do eventually is add an...
Hi everyone, nice to meet you all. I just joined this forum because I love photography. I've recently decided to get a bit more serious about photography, so I've started building a website where I can showcase some of my work. I'm buying myself a better camera soon too. Check it out out and...
