I found the carbon tripods too light since the camera with a dark cloth attached takes on a 'kite like' performance when the wind blows. Check out the Berlebach wood tripods, you can get them stained to match the colour of the camera. -Rob

I use my F3 all the time. I've had no issues. It's the black F3/T which were made towards the end of the product life.

I find that I don't use the green very often. For me the 040 from B+W is the most useful. It looks orange to me but they call it dark yellow. I also use the 022 yellow a bit and the 090 red the least. You can see examples of the effect on these two youtube videos I did.

I have not tried it. Seems hard to frame with the small viewfinder lines.

I just want a more narrow view than I'm getting with the 50mm.

I'm only interested in shooting film. I have a M6TTL with an .85 viewfinder.
