2 pin connectors are used to connect the power supply to the main board (with the arduino) and on the light unit to connect the fan and LED to the pcb. The ones on the light unit are not the same size. I would go by the BOM in the wiki instead of the csv file.
I used connectors everywhere...

I bought a synch cord and will build a flash sensor soon for my tester. Can you school me in how to test flash synch? That is, how do i use it to make sure a camera with TTL flash is correctly adjusted?
When they're selling for $25 bucks then why not get a few? š
I did notice that unlike some other Nikons where the standard lens is a 50mm f1.4, this manual says to use a 50mm f1.8. Those have a different light transmittance at the same f stops. Maybe this manual is scaled to better align with...
Hello,
I'm looking at the official repair manual for my Nikon N2000 (F301) and having some trouble understanding what Nikon is saying.
On Step 3 there's two standards and I don't know how to adjust. BOTH 60 and 125 lighting up and just 125 lighting up. Followed by just 125 lighting up with DX...
Assembled the tester but still need some cable management and the sensors. Luckily the darker yellow LED does have linear output! My rough calibration needed 12.9 V to get there. Hopefully I installed the fresnel lens the correct way because it was hard to tell which way the ribs and smooth...
If I understand correctly, there isn't much securing the light unit in place. The mounting brackets are screwed onto the front panel and the reflector slides into the mounting bracket. Its really the bracket in the back that holds the light unit.
I'm in the middle of this project and have ordered all the 3D prints and PCBs.
I just received the LEDs and I have no idea if its the correct one. Getting slightly concerned I won't be able to get the same LED as the firmware is tuned for. Does this look right?
I received the following items...
Thanks for the info MattKing and Niglyn. The shutter tester gets me half way but I'm still unsure about producing EV light values and could use some tips.
Below is the Nikon repair manual on the adjustment of the potentiometer i messed with. The pot is correct once (a) and (b) result in the...
Made an account to post in this thread as I recently decided to make a shutter speed tester. I have even bought a four pack of the laser emitters and detectors used by Niglyn. I was going to just use one sensor because I wasn't considering some of the things Niglyn posted about at higher shutter...
