    Yashica Mat-124 not focusing correctly, hoping for some repair advice

    Hey! I know this was reallty long ago but i'm having the same exact issue. Can you point me to a diagram or a picture of where the mirror should be located? I think mine was moved during cleaning.

    Oh yes! Idk if I said that in the post but I have threaded it into place correctly and then it's not firing when depressing the plunger. It fires fine when pressed in manually, just not with the cable release attached.

    Yashica shutter button fires just fine with pressed in, but it doesn't fire when using a cable release. Any ideas how to fix? The release cable also has a "Leica nipple" attachment for my Nikon F photomic but the outside of the yashica isn't threaded.
