You could also look at Nippon Photo Clinic in NYC. They’re pretty expensive but their work on Nikons is excellent.

One question I have to ask: were you using lens shades on both cameras? Most Tessar and Tessar clone-equipped TLRs will perform substantially better with the proper lens shade.
Absolutely! I keep a set of Series V, VI and VII filters and a pile of adapters handy for odd-sized lenses.

With few exceptions, aftermarket zooms, no matter how good, tend to hold very little value in the used market.
In many cases these low values are undeserved - driven down by the many far less impressive zooms that gave aftermarket zooms a bad name - but only a handful of the really good...
It seems so simple now that you point it out. I couldn't figure out why there was a huge parsley outline on a few of the frames.... smelled delicious, though.
