secondhanddarkroom.co.uk has 2 listed, one is definitely a revolving door, but not cheap.

I have all the european gears from Heiland in Germany, the Splitgrade Prozessor with Comfort Module and automated Magnifax 4 head as well as the RH Designs Analyzer Pro and the Stopclock + Zonemaster. Bought all used over years to compare what fits my needs best, and to sell afterwards what I do...
Congratulations. That's a nice part and the Ilford 500 MG system also that can also be connected to the Heiland and RH Designs analyzers.
But I personally find the Focomat 500 a bit pricey. There is alternatively the Kienzle Primos 69s that is mostly very cheap and is also rock solid with same...
Mr. Heiland uses the splitgrade by technical reason. It is easier to build an automated enlarger head that makes two exposures with 00 and 5 grades than implement a head with 12 filters from 00 to 5 grades. I have a Magnifax 4 as well as a Dunco 66 module with a controller an a Comfort unit...
I use the Moersch Restrainer, that is a mixture of Benzo and Sodium Bromide, for developing old Agfa Record Rapid FB from the 80th. Without the restrainer with a strong fog. With restrainer, it look like new with good whites. Luckily, I got 800 sheets of 9,5x12 inch for small money
Its also...
I always find it a bit problematic to argue less features as "advantages" by the reason " I do not need it". Yes it is a good idea to buy just what you need and safe money, but it is not an advantage to have a simpler camera.
Thanks a lot. What you see is a rock solid Homrich 4x5 color enlarger to the left, in the middle a Magnifax 4 with a Heiland splitgrade system and on the right a Philips PCS 2000 RGB enlarger that I use for color negatives and slides.
Hello @Tina Kino, sorry for being late, had to postpone my session to today. Her the pictures of my darkroom setup illuminated by SL-1 and the Adox safelight with clip lamps that are directed to the ceiling.
The SL-1 is bit brighter, but at the end both are very convenient for working.
Never made a fogging test, but for Foma paper, I use the ADOX Supersafe LED bulbs that are quite cheap. For Ilford paper, I use the orange SL-1. But the ADOX bulbs are not very less bright, very comfortable for darkroom work. I had the five SL-1 first. If I had have known the quality of the...
Question is more if the both filter tables of Ilford are correct (what I guess) and if your enlarger set up fits the Kodak/Durst/Agfa values what is more the question. Is mor what you want to see on the paper than knowing that my picture is grade 2,5. The real difference between 1 and 2 filter...
Or the eTone roller plus extension unit for less than 200 Euro together. But it is cheap China ware, I do not know if it is worth the price.
On the other hand, also the other products are expected produced on China.
I see two options actually, if you do not want the water bath: The Jobo SilverBase for about 430 Eur or the Filmomat light for about 600 Euro. The Filmomat light give you the option with and without water bath and works with all drum types. But I do not know the length and if it fits the Jobo...
