Joel, thank you for your opinion.
I am on the same side, especially when have to do quite a lot of prints which are more or less technical - my wife experimenting with macro and I am printing all of it. Sometimes she is bracketing or changing a lite, and after it is hard to understand what it...
Using Foma 100 as my main film. Canon EOS 33 is the main camera, but also using Nikon and Zenit cameras.
I did not have a problem with rewind in Canon, but in Zenit, where everything is manual, the rewind was so complicated that it opened the film door. Yesterday, I had a problem to load the...
Thank you guys for sharing your experience and thoughts.
I think I could find the way of using of this kind of device in my darkroom.
From our discussion, I understood that any Analyser will not do it your way, but could bring you much closer to desired result.

For some special purposes I have a combination of Foma warm tone paper Fomatone 132 and developer Fomatol pw.

Actually, I understand how all this devices principály works, and even how coul I use it, but I found several threads that someone was setting up the device during 2 days and just after, it started to work as it has to. That is my main question.
How hard is to calibrate it for 1 type of paper...

To achieve some level is enough to do it and get more skills, but here is a question - will using of any device make my process easier?
To...
Some prints as for example night city takes a long time to find a necessary balance of filters and doge/burn. I could spend 3-4 hours doing it and waist several sheets of paper to achieve a result close to optimal. I assume, that it could help me to do It faster and without wasting so much paper…
