Sinar Norma 8x10 Field Camera Long Telephoto

Yep, I agree, it's got to be satisfying to get it all to work. Better to hire a three or four porters and get ahold of a Deardorff commercial camera with 7-8 feet extension 😊 maybe a reducing back to 6x9 cm 😁😎 I've done something like this but it was with a 450mm on 8x10" . All great fun. I...

Using CMY Controls as Neutral Density Control

I used the Ilford magenta/yellow dual filter (constant exposure) method with a couple different Beseler dichroic 4x5 heads over the years works great. You know this method allows you to change contrast pretty much effortlessly Next find an old Kodak Darkroom Dataguide, use the magnification...

Somebody commented (sarcastically I assume) an album a day! Ha! Ha! Sure, why not? Right?

Outstanding! Perfect! You're right about the panoramic head, once level. D60 excellent choice.

Panoramic images: Half Dark Slide versus Dedicated Camera

3 1/2 × 14" ? I would need to sacrifice 2 darkslides. Just need to tape in cut film

Re-coating half silver mirrors for viewfinders?

How did some vacuum tubes like projector lamps get silvered? I remember Tollen's reagent from chemistry that would yield a silver mirror from aldehydes. Not permanent. Modern is some sort of metal vapor applied in a vacuum. IIRC Oakley sunglasses?

    Hasselblad EL/M

Very nice! Maybe we should see if the new Widelux group could take on making up 50 of these 😊😊

I think we should lobby Spielberg and Nolan to push NASA to include 70mm Ektachrome in Blads with 60mm Biogons for the Artemis 4 thru 24 landings. 😊

    Hasselblad EL/M

Tang, ick!! 😄 I remember trying it out in the 60's, it was horrible. The fuel cells on Apollo created water by combining hydrogen and oxygen. Thus Tang was an attempt to make the water more yummy. 🙄

Fuji GX617 Professional mechanical override of electromagnetic shutter?

I've got a G617 great old camera. I found out the first time out with the camera that, again for clarity, the first generation fully mechanical camera, that you need to make sure to fully press the release. First you will hear the body frame counter clack, then you will hear the leaf shutter...

I have a lefthand grip for my motorized body, works great. Really need to mount this to a spacesuit and walk around 😁

Going to be careful about enormous file sizes. I remember some of my grandparents snaps that were contact prints 8 exposure b&w , deckle edges, in a little booklet. You could tear out one to share. Maybe limit it to say 6 smaller files. Make it like the old days.
