For a fully manual I would say F3. I like the F2 but at least mine didn't have the light so it's hard to use in low light situation (same problem with FM/FE). But most of the current F3s have problem with LCD being too old and lack contrast.
This is probably a dumb question but I'm asking it anyway. If I can't get my hands on silica gel, how safe is it to use CaCl based moisture absorber for let's say 1 month?
How long until the chloride vapor invites rust on metal parts?
Does anyone know where to go in Bangkok or its surrounding to photograph Muay Thai activities in more traditional settings or any other human interests subjects?
Gosh, cat pee stinks to high heaven. I wouldn't be surprised if it's also radioactive.
But I will try the advice above with bicarbonate or maybe baking soda since most urines are acidic. Try with sacrificial negative first.
I had FM-10 work camera which I considered as an 'upgrade' from my personal F-601 because it has DoF lever. I really liked that camera, cheap and reliable.
I regret that you didn't make video or pictorial of it. It sounds simple but at that time I just needed to file the tab and not reducing the actual size of the focusing screen. Even with that easy task I failed. I don't exactly remember if I left the tape goo on the fresnel but I botched it.
i assume as long as you can find the same or larger screen with same thickness then it can be done. Reducing the larger screen is quite difficult though. You need something to firmly grip it without damaging the fresnel
