Purchase was sometime last year.
Not sure about expiration, but I do remember I had some rolls very close to it. There's a chance this might have been one of them.
Storage in fridge.
It was indeed exposed to x-rays at the airport, several times. I'd say 4 in total. Good catch.
Edit: however, I...
Hello all,
Some of my negatives display some sort of drag artifact, and I was wondering if you may be able to help me identify the culprit.
I'm attaching an example, both positive and negative.
I have reason to believe that the streaks sometimes run along more than one frame (see the attached...
Hello everybody.
I've come across this camera that seems to have an obstructed threaded hole.
Do you know what it might be?
It's hard, I've tried to punch through it with some pointy tweezers and managed to bend the tip of the tweezers :)
Thanks
Yes, Chris Sherlock and mikeno have been a huge help!
This one was supposed to be my "for parts" camera (and it was, I cannibalized part of the winding mechanism already), but I'm still trying to get it to work

Anyway, thanks everybody for your input!
The intent is to have fun and understand how it works. It's the first time I've disassembled the front and shutter, and I figured I would do it with a camera with little hope of being in working conditions again.
That being said, I'm just a little concerned about fungus as a concept, so I was...
Hello all,
I got my hands on a Rolleiflex T in a pretty bad shape.
At a first glance it looked like the taking lens had fungus, but I'm not so sure anymore š¤
I took off the front and back element of the lens, and it's clear that whatever that is, it's just on the aperture blades.
Can it be...
Update for those who might be interested.
I developed in HC-110 for 8.5 minutes at 20C (as per Kodak times for p3200@800ISO).
The negative was extremely fogged, but overall I think it would have been usable if not for a small detail: it turns out I had already exposed the negative 10 years...
Hi all,
I have a roll of Tmax P3200 kept at room temperature in a wardrobe for some 10 years (it was purchased as normal, non-expired film).
I can only assume it's expired but I'm not sure about the exact expiration date.
I've shot it at ISO 800.
Given the uncertainty about its conditions, I...
For developing negatives I think the best option is just to pick any introductory video on Youtube.
I find books to be more useful in the darkroom, because there I prefer to turn my phone off.
I can't post a negative right now, I'll try tonight.
Also I used a crappy office scanner, so don't read too much into other artifacts/dirt spread around the picture
