I finally shot a test roll on the Bessa. Here's one of the pictures. I think the lens is aligned correctly.

If you are ok with a camera that does not have a light meter I would recommend a Kodak Retina IIa (or another Retina). It's a very small folding rangefinder camera with an excellent 50mm 2.0 lens. Once folded it fits nicely in my pants pocket.

I think it is ok. Once I finish my first roll of film and develop it I will be able to know.

Thanks for all the replies. I purchased a Voigtlander Bessa I from Blue Moon Camera (one of the sponsors) and they answered all the questions I had. The one I bought has the focus scale in feet.

I have a question on the Voigtlander Bessa I. Is the focusing scale in meters or feet? I am asking because I am interested in buying one and an accessory rangefinder. For obvious reason the unit on the camera and the rangefinder should match. thanks, Luis
