I have a few rolls of Adox CHS100 ii in 135 format and a couple of developers: Kodak D76 (current formulation) and Adox FX39. Normally I dilute D76 1+1 and FX39 1+14. Has anyone compared CHS in these developers? I like FX39 for full film speed and acutance but is it rather too grainy in...

I think the idea was that the Pro would have adjustable focus. Although it may have appeared on the website I don't believe it actually went into production although, of course, I could be wrong about this...
Well I have a Nikon Coolscan V and a Minolta 5400 Mk.1 and they're both great. Have just now ordered an Opticfilm to replace my aging but still working V750. It seems that the Opticfilm will be a step up from this for MF so fingers crossed that it is.
I've just ordered an Opticfilm 120 and as a Vuescan user I'm wondering if you ever managed to resolve the problem? I do have Silverfast AI also but prefer to use Vuescan if at all possible.
Very interesting. Just started to shoot D400 and looking for best choice of dev. Seems Xtol is a universal favourite so will try Adox XT-3, an excellent clone.

I'm now running a hybrid process too and for some of the same reasons, such as lack of space. However I've come to really prefer it, there are so many wonderfuly papers out there - without that wet print curl! - and only having to 'spot' once is also a boon. And despite the exhorbitant costs...
