Kodak Building 58 Film Finishing circa late 90s internal video

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this, but I found this DVD and had to share it. It appears to be an internal video of some kind showing off how Kodak finishes the film products, back in their peak in the late 90s. It's VERY 90s, and it's frankly amazing. I find it further...

How long should I expect frozen RA-4 paper to yield good results?

I ust purchased some fresh Fuji Crystal Archive Type II and I'm going to freeze it until I use it. I was wondering, how many years people have refrigerated or froze their RA-4 papers (unexposed) and had good results still? Looking around, I have not seen much discussion on the subject. Thank you.

    RA4 Roll Paper Cutting Methods

I have to ask, how do you all usually cut down rolls? I've heard some stories of people doing it manually, but I hear there is or were some roll cutting machines people have gotten their hands on?

Looking for Operating Manual/Manuals for Noritsu QSF-T 15

I’ve been trying to understand everything about the Noritsu QSF-T 15 C-41 film processor, since it seems like a nice machine for low daily 35mm workloads, but I’ve yet to find most of the manuals/information besides a flyer and service manual. Does anyone have the other manuals or where I could...

    Kodak Warning + Later Clarification

Maybe I can hope that Harman would acquire the film business for cheap, but that is probably just wishful thinking.

New E6 Kit from Kodak (Photosys?)

Thank goodness, I was starting to get concerned that they would never release E-6. It disappeared from the website (the mention, anyway) the same time the C-41 started to appear a year ago. Chibachrome next??

    Super 8 film stock.

Magnetic strip has not been applied to any motion picture stock since the 90s, as far as I have heard the process to attach it was expensive and banned by stricter EPA regulations. But regardless of why, it doesn't exist anymore and I would not get your hopes up of it ever returning 😢

Sold Fuji Frontier Scanning Lens (?)

Could you show an image of the rear element? I'm trying to figure out if this is designed for a sensor or a line CCD

@Don_ih glad you received it! I did send that weeks ago, glad to see the strike has ended. And yes I think its your card from the last exchange that reminded me of this photo when I was deciding what to send next.

For Sale Beseler 11x14 Processing Drum

Is this still for sale? And do you know if this has the accessories to use this with smaller print sizes like 8x10?

Kodak-branded chemicals - official news (they are returning)

At long last, some of the chemicals are in stock (sadly the LORR LU dev is not yet, but expected dates are a great sign).

Kodak-branded chemicals - official news (they are returning)

This is fantastic news! And $104 for 40L of LORR Developer is great, this is very promising. However, I do notice that the E-6 dropdown disappeared, that is not a good sign.

Postcard Exchange Round 62 Comments and Feedback

Thanks for the postcard compliments! I recently got two cards that really stood out to me: "Window" by @AnselMortensen is superb, and Arista 400 with Rodinal is quite the classic combo. I also really like the stamps choice, I was curious and some googling later, the stamps seem to be decades...
