One professional photographer I know got the local authorities to back off when he showed that the chemicals he was using were chemically identical to common fertilizer. Rather than putting it down the drain, he stored it and spread it on his lawn.
I've owned two vintage 1920's Heidoscops, and made images with one of them. Pretty fiddly but they have their moments. Film holders/sheaths tend to be problematic.
Another vote for the Berlebach Report for my Intrepid 8x10. The camera can be like a sail and you want a good sturdy support under it.
It always seems like the wind is blowing quite hard wherever I want to do landscape photography. Keeping the camera from falling over is first priority (not a...
Right. As long as metal is not missing, it's simple sheet metal work. Mostly straightening things out, I've found. Some missing areas can be reconstructed using metal epoxy, then painting.
Sure, Rolleiflex, Hasselblad, Leica, you name it. Kept buying them whenever condition seemed good and price seemed low. No regrets. Love the stuff, and shoot photos all the time.

I don't care for autofocus, but a power winder can be nice. I laugh every time I use my Hassy EL/M, 10 yrs on the Moon commemorative model. Slap, grunt, chunk.... So over the top...
FYI I bought a used M3 and sent it to Youxin. He did wonders with the shutter speeds, etc, but the film counter did not work. I returned it to him a second time and he told me that "these early models had a problem with the film counter". He could not fix it.
So I carry a clicker counter to...
1 or 2 days? I would recommend guiding them through the process of making, developing, and printing an image. Actually you don't have enough time to cover that very well. Not much room for hands on work because you need to give some detailed lectures (several hours).
I did a 5 day course in...
