Great, thanks.
Next problem is that I sometimes feel like the rangefinder is sticking, it seems as though sometimes it will focus at infinity and sometimes it won't. The distance scale on top doesn't seem accurate but I understand that can be misaligned without really meaning much other than...
I am trying out a Kodak Medalist I that I recently obtained. Until now I'd been testing it with an exposed 120 film respooled onto a 620 spindle. But I'm now using 620 film and intended to get it processed. Either way, this happens:
I load it with the "1" denoting the first frame just...
I suppose this could not be some kind of light path issue (maybe dependent on direction of light). If it's at fast shutter speeds does that mean wide aperture? Maybe try lining the extension tube/adapter with something light-absorbing.
If the thrill is the marriage of digital and film medium format in one body, the Mamiya AFD series cameras allow use of both digital and film backs, and if it's particularly old Russian lenses you want to use then adapters are/were available (eg Hartblei) so you can use Kiev88/Pentacon6 lenses...

I...
Some of this is reminding me of the confusion that often seems to exist around the concepts of evolution, the "balance of nature" and probably many others.
In the studio or in pretty specific circumstances outside where I know what I'm after - it's directed/driven by me. Guess that's "making", and it's where I'm most comfortable.
Sometimes I can get in the zone mentally and take unplanned pictures successfully - this is situational, needs a...
Great news, I'm tempted to have yet another go at LF...
The lcd seems the weakest link to me. But on the bright side at least it's not controlled by a phone app like some of those SX-70 adaptations.
I had some rolls of HP5 120 film (expired Feb 23) that I shot this year, they came back from development at a reputable lab (AG) and all the shadows were full of small blotches (picture is after scanning and reversal). The film had been stored in a drawer for a few years. I assume this is the...
