A few more cards arrived over the past couple (uh, maybe more ) weeks:
Arriving in Lisbon, 1999 by @rduraoc. It’s a beautiful image, and I agree it’s a scene you linger on and wonder about what’s really going on.
electric egret by @jvo. The egret does appear to be channeling something...
Catching up on a couple of postcards that arrived recently. I received unfinished from @koraks, a peaceful scene tied to some interesting family memories. It’s good that you still have a connection to that intersection of place, history and family. @drpsilver sent Got Calculus, a rather...
I wanted to start by thanking all who commented on my card. You kind thoughts are very much appreciated.
A number of cards that have arrived in my mailbox:
Dendritic Shadows (@mshchem): Very nice play of shadow on a building at the University of Iowa. Going from TB hospital to a bookmaking...
HI all-
A couple of cards arrived recently, and interestingly both with historical themes. I received BRNO from Ajven which documents modern progress intersecting with the city’s industrial past. Also, I really like that paper — it has a beautiful surface.
Hwv sent Einsteinhaus Caputh...
A few cards came in just before the holiday rush:
A cyanotype from rduraoc made from a negative from Don_ih. I thought this came out very nicely in cyanotype. Also happy to note that the postcard made the trip from Belgium in excellent condition.
Home for Two from JVO which depicts a church...

A number of cards has arrived over the past few weeks:
Gear and Chain by Todd Barlow. I really love industrial ‘portraits’ like this. Perfect composition for square format.
Pioneer Saloon by Michael Howard. Wonderful piece of Americana. The barstool and beer bottle was just perfect. For a...
This past week I received Leaves from AnselMortensen. An interesting printing technique that compliments the subject matter. The various stamps on the card were fun to see as well. An afternoon sail New York Harbor from jvo also arrived this week. The slightly abstract feel fits the subject...
Catching up on a few more cards I’ve received recently. I received apparition, rodin seated from jvo, a very interesting play of light and shadow. mshchem sent Felon Felon. Haven’t seen that sign around here — funny! Dunga sent Winter Story. This is a really nice photo taken as morning fog...
Just wanted to mention that I received Stadtkirche Crivitz from hkbenji. Lovely architectural detail of an old church. A small detail that seems to capture the essence of what surrounds it. Thanks!
