So, what would you say the shutter speed drift is from indicated on stock dial? In other words, what would be a quick rule for folks without a way to do actual readings?

It looks like one of the forum members who had Retina expertise is no longer present. Who is currently doing such? My interest is have someone verify, or adjust the known weakness with the film advance business (brass rack and pinion or such), and repair, if need be. Models are II a and III C...

At Michael's, a craft store chain in the U.S., I found this smooth foam material, the size of a letter, 2 mm thick. I have used it with cement on older cameras, nothing too fancy, with good results. "Little Makers" foam sheet says the label.

I have read some of the thread, but not all of it, so I have to ask, is the main damage appearing as general fogging (and/or color shifts), and also maybe wave-like marks?

Solargraph, stayed out a long time..! There seems to be side leaks form the pinhole, and some other effects, possibly due to the paper curling up.

Well, for someone often in that position, I would say, filter a bit by people you "know", and also study, but not necessarily follow, some of the folks into more exotic or theoretical approaches, requiring a lot of experience? A good reference book, to confirm as well?

I made a wooden L shape cradle for box cameras, with tripod screw mount. Box gets strapped onto cradle, Not elegant, versatile, works, could be improved with metal and magnets?
