Well, seems no update is coming and that they were a bit too ambitious, right ? I'll wait for the multiple updates but I'm not holding my breath, I hope they'll manage to ramp up slowly but correctly towards their previous ambitions
I think it went from really funky (too much) to looking useable, albeit limited.
The first phoenix you figured something was wrong with your film, with this one it juste looks like a bad CN film, which is quite a step up. I even see that contrary to Phoenix 1, Phoenix 2 portrait and landscapes...
Orwo does look better but it stands on a larger and previously present industrial base. It is "just" Inoviscoat doing a good job with extra capacity on top of polaroid negative production, if I understand everything currently.
Personally, witnessing the upstart of a completely new player, seeing...
It looks like it improved a bit, compared to the results I had with the first one, namely with halation, and the colors that seem a bit more tamed. Nothing earth-shattering, but better still. I do wonder if those are the best results, and how it really performs.
I'd like that they give more...
Hand coating ! The film will be 1€ each but only a thousand produced a year :)
I think that those updates are really too advert-like… Monomer, are you in any way affiliated with LLL ?
Yeah, I think wanting to resurrect kodachrome shows a rather poor understanding of what's needed in the market and what's feasible. There's a difference between being confident and delusional.

What I want to point out is this sentence in their blog post : "The Film Project will utilize our newly developed proprietary...

Seems like C200 and C400 (Superia?) will be produced again, but outsourced to china
If the quality turns out to be right, it will be best of both worlds between instax and fuji color...
Hello everyone,
Polaroid announced today an update to its black and white instant film.
From their instagram depiction it seems to be a major upgrade. It seems the first packs to use this new formula will be the monochrome frames.
I think that Polaroid was always fun but also deeply...
Pentax has given some news for the future of its film project
The video is pretty long, but I guess the most important part is at the end. They’re apparently aiming to bring 4 different cameras to the market in the near(?)-future.
The 4 cameras will be chronologically :
The aforementioned...
I really can’t fathom some people response to Harman Phoenix.
Frankly, we’re at a point where some things we couldn’t believe would happen even two years ago..
I get it that it is frankly disappointing compared to kodak's or fuji's offerings. However, as they said in many of their videos, it's...
