This thread made me curious. My main use case for AI thus far has been translation; in particular translating english<->catalan using both Chat GPT and Claude.ai For that realm they do pretty good, bit still requires some knowledge of the subject to prevent misguided usage...non native...
I have been intrigued by the phenom of using expired, sometimes long expired film. I don't stock film though. Maybe I am fortunate but where I lived there is no problem finding the film I want anytime.

While I don't use a PulseTek I have had a recent occurance of banding on my Reflecta RPS 10M with SilverFast9 Ai. Further investigation showed that CyberViewX ( the OEM software for the Reflecta) does not produce banding.
With my particular combination it showed up on grossly overexposed HP+...
