If you're OK with autofocus, Canon or Nikon AF analog bodies like the EOS 3 and F100 can use image stabilized lenses too.. Some of the Canon ones like the 100L IS and the new 24-70 f/4L IS are pretty remarkable in what they can do to remove hand tremors. I've hand-held the Nikon 16-35 VR at 1/4...
Saturation is more dependent on the film, I've never done color darkroom, but i'm pretty sure saturation isn't something you can just do like exposure.
I would totally agree with this. And i'm in the Pac. Northwest.
This is the key. Ektar was designed for scanning. In my experience, it works best when exposed as if it were ISO 50 film. Warms it up a bit, and removes the blue tones that it can get. I'm in the crowd that says Ektar is the best...
I regularly use a ZF.2 50mm f/1.4 Planar on my F3 and F (FTn Finder). My Main Camera is a Contax 645 with the 80mm Zeiss. Color and mechanics will be better than the Nikon stuff, but sharpness and bokeh will be pretty similar. Color is identical between the Zeiss 80 f/ Contax and the Zeiss 50 f/...

I tested it out...
So I just got this GORGEOUS Nikon F with the FTN finder and a Nikkor-S Auto 50 1.4. Aside from a few marks on the back panel, the thing looks, feels, and operates like new. Except the lens...I think. This is where I need your help ;)
Now most of the manual focus glass in 35mm I've used has been...
I've done experiments with all of those films when pushed and developed normally in those circumstances.
Portra 400 is "just OK" at 800 dev'd normally in daylight conditions. Shadows are pretty darn muddy, if it's low light, it'll look terrible.
Ektar 100 goes really blue and contrasty when...
Think some type of folder that can or has been modified to accept 120 film, most (i believe) used 620 which doesn't really exist in any practical quantity anymore. You can use a 4x5 or 8x10 view camera too, or if you've got some deep pockets, the Leica II came out in 1932..
Honestly, I don't...
