What's the problem with your Argus's ? I have serviced one so I can tell you if this is something simple to fix ... though the Argus C3 is really an exceptionally low tech camera that is not difficult to work on.

I have replaced the curtains on many a Minolta-35, and it is not all that difficult if you want to try it yourself (note I do not offer camera restoration services myself, I just work on my own stuff)

I used Konishi G17 to attach curtains on a Barnack type Minolta-35 camera and gave enough time for adjustment. Nobby Sparrow uses this glue for Leica's.
I tested Konishi G17 for Polarbear, they kindly sent me a tube, to compare with Pliobond 20.
It has similar properties ... though less solids, and much less odour.
It has a higher bond but material can still be removable...
Yes, you can use left-handed drill bits as an extractor ... I also have set that I use to drill out screws, as if it catches the screw it will turn it out ... otherwise it goes through and I can pick the bits out.
Though not easy to find for those tiny screws, much easier on the large screws...
As others have mentioned ... something in the middle to keep the blades open ... and Apply lots of Isopropyl Alcohol (I would not suggest grease) to all surfaces, as the cohesion of the liquid keeps the blades in position.
This takes practice and lots and lots of patience.
I work on older cameras ... and they tend to have many brass screws ... these tend to break easily when the incorrect driver head is used ... especially set/grub screws. I've had to drill out these screws.
As Nimbus stated ... to drill them out you need a rigid setup. I use a square ended...
I am going to guess the BL is the same as the B in terms of the shutter. You start in the middle and unscrew the front lens group by turning the beauty ring, the next ring is held on with set screws on the outside, and then keep going in.... you should also check out Chris Sherlock's video on...
