Bumping, very great camera! I just got mine from ebay and it is really well built!

My graphic view doesn’t have a graflok and I’m totally fine with it! So it’s not necessary but it would be a nice to have!

I’ll for sure take a look at these models. Price is mostly the motivating factor for me as some of these models can be a lot of money. Thanks for the recommendations!

Honestly I would have done the same as well. Sometimes it’s not worth the trouble to fix or troubleshoot.

+1 to graphic view! I have one as a view camera and it’s one of my favorites to shoot with!

Seconding what other people have said but it almost looks like there’s little or no info in the black areas and that’s why you are getting “noise” there. Most likely from the scanning process. I get things like that when I scan night photos as well

I would say something Graflex in that case. In the higher end you could maybe get a Toyo or something more.

That’s great! A lot of the other items you can get for cheapish and most of the time some listings online will come with some film holders so you can get started that way

+1 to crown graphic. You can get one for decently cheap and it will allow for most of beginning large format stuff. That was the camera that introduced me to large format and I loved mine a lot. One thing of note is that with large format you will need a few extra items (loupe, dark cloth...
