Dear Bob:
Thank you for your reply. Please let me be more specific. I'm looking for a medium telephoto of a focal length of about 75mm to 100mm or so. I'm looking for a very large aperture to give shallow depth of field. And I want to achieve swirly bokeh if possible.
I'll be grateful for any...
Dear Ansel:
Thank you for your reply. How long a focal length will i need to clear the mirror? I have a Nikon bellows, but i think that a helical adapter will be more useful. Have you experimented with this setup?
Thanks in advance.
David
I've seen some interesting images where people have mounted projector lenses onto mirrorless digital cameras. I'm wondering whether I can make this work with my Nikon F mount film cameras. I've been told that this won't work; the the rear element of projector lenses is too close to the focal...
I'm thinking of shooting ilford SFX with my Holga. My thought is to glue a step up ring in front of the lens and screw an R25, R29 or R72 filter in. Has anyone shot under these circumstances? What development times have you used for Xtol, HC110 and Rodinal?
I'm interested in the Astrum 200 near infrared 120 film. If i use a 720 filter, how shall i rate the film. In other words, if I rate the film at asa 200, should I just open up 8 stops or something else?

Dear Colleagues:
I just purchase a bunch of Kodak Polyfiber GD paper from a fellow photographer. Perhaps I'm throwing darts in the dark. Who has used this paper and what can you tell me about it.
Thank you in advance.

I'm thinking of beginning to work with constant exposure tungsten lights. What are the relative advantages and disadvantages of fresnel lights vs. open face lights?

I'm wondering about how to gain access to the shipyards. I know that you can't just show up and ask to be shown around. Whaat to my brothers and sisters know about this issue?

I'm thinking of doing a project photographing the ship breakers on the beach in Alang, India. Has anyone done this? How have you gone about getting access to be able to photograph? I'll be grateful for any information.
Thank you in advance.

I have an unopened box of Kodak Super Panchro Press Type B film. The box says that the film expired in 1951, three years after i was born. The box also says that one can develop the film in D50, D19n and Dektol. I have some of each of these.
I think the film has been stored at room temperature...
Dear Chuckroast:
Thank you for your comment about using PMK for stand development. There is universal agreement that PMK won't work for stand development.
At your suggestion, I have just purchased some 510 Pyro developer. What times do you suggest for stand development?
Thank you in advance...
I've begun experimenting with stand development. My first try has been with R09, sometimes known as Rodinal. So far,so good. Has anyone tried stand development with PMK? If so, what dilution and development times are you using?
I have the same question for Xtol.
I'm developing Ilford FP4+...
I only photograph with film. I create the images in the darkroom with an enlarger and various chemical baths. I'm not interested in the computer.
