I have always been a Friedlander fan, and his work has often influenced my own. The attached is just one example from a photo show and subsequent book I did called Café Life. I’m sure Lee F was looking over my shoulder.
My camera kit includes a ‘Flex EIII 3.5 which I have often thought about “upgrading” to a 2.8. Inevitably I talk myself out of that because I have never been able to convince myself there is a good reason to do so.
Thank you, Sean. The big Peter Gowland camera under your arm in your photo brought a smile to my face remembering Gowland’s pictorial contributions to Playboy and my coming of age back in the early-mid 1960s.
Greetings,
My name is Dan. I live in Virginia, USA. Got my first camera (1916 Kodak box camera that used 616 film) as a birthday present at age 4 in 1949. Had my first darkroom by age 12. I was an anthropologist/archaeologist/professor in my last professional life and I have been retired since...

I'm constantly on the lookout for good condition 9x12 plate holders for my Welta plate camera (Watson). I also am seeking a nice stash of sheaths, Kodak or similar, for using film in 9x12 holders.
