Ah, that seems to be it. It was called the SELSY. Some information here and an image showing what appears to be the connection to the body here. Thank you!

Hello all,
There is a Leica IIIc listed on the auction site with a hole in the inner bottom plate which looks to have been professionally or factory made. I thought it might be a modification for some accessory, but an internet search reveals nothing. The seller is a Leica seller, but he...
I had a whole roll of NC500 shot at box speed come out with blue splotches sort of like underexposure artifacts. It was recommended to me to shoot it at 250, but I haven't tried it yet.
Hello koraks, thank you for replying.
On the negatives, I don't see anything between the frames. If the light leak were happening during transport it would show up in other areas of the film.
I checked the camera again with an LED light and don't see anything.
Hello all,
I recently got back a roll I shot on a 6x4.5 Ikonta 521 with a f/3.5 Tessar and Compur-Rapid shutter. All shots were at 1/500 except for one at 1/250 (due to 800 speed film). All have mysterious light leaks (?) in the center right area of the image, ranging from faint to extreme...
I recently commented on another thread that my experience with one roll at box speed was underexposure-artefact-type blue mottling throughout the roll, very conspicuous in darker areas and discernible in the lighter areas. Ten301 replied that they shoot it at EI 250.
I shot a roll of it at box speed and the whole roll had blue mottling (something like underexposure artifacts). Someday I will try another at a lower EI, maybe that will help.
Suggestions would be Ektar, which is very saturated and certainly distinctive (beware of underexposure or heavy shade...
It looks like Film Photography Project is selling this repackaged quite cheaply: https://filmphotographystore.com/products/35mm-bw-film-jiangshi400-400-1-roll-copy.
Blue Moon recently did a CLA and seals / pads replacement on an F body for $265. plus return shipping; turnaround was about four months (a bit longer than originally stated). Maybe not the cheapest or fastest option, but I feel safe dealing with them.
Very muddy, low contrast, and grainy. A couple of times I've shot ancient (circa 20 year old) T-Max 3200 at 400 for the effect, and it looked like that or worse. Old School Photo Lab's FAQ says they use "Clayton F76+ developer; we adjust our processing for the specific film type and speed".
I bought some Bergger awhile back when Blue Moon Camera had a special on it. I shot a roll of 35 and a roll of 120, and had them processed by a reliable online lab. The results were shockingly awful. Maybe someday I will shoot another roll and send it to Blue Moon, in the hopes that maybe...
