I have a spare Linhof Kardan E monorail camera I am going to use as a 4x5 enlarger with Intrepid 4x5 Enlarger kit. The Intrepid light source adapts to Graflok backs. Just want to check with you if the Kardan E uses a Graflok back. Is this a Graflok back?

Having problems with markings on wet plate tintypes. It looks like oil on water. It is still seen after varnishing. What is the cause of these defects? I only get this on tintypes not on ambrotypes. And my process is exactly the same for both types.

The physical diameter. I need a smaller loupe for my 4x5 camera. My Pentax 5.5x loupe, with a diameter of 70mm, is too big for the 4x5 ground glass.
