I'd forgotten about that Wim Wenders photograph! Love it. Very much along the lines of what I photograph at the cabaret. It's a lot of fun.

The reigning Queen of Burlesque 2015, and a good friend and fellow performer at the club where I sing. Improvised light and a lot of figuring out how to pose a flying chick. We had fun.

My friend Andrea, who must be the most positive and energetic person I've ever known. She is a single mom to a little boy with Downs Syndrome, and just opened a dance and fitness studio for those with special needs.

Thanks, everyone. We had a great time. I'm fairly immune to whiskey, but Taka is not, which is the winning combo.

One more of Taka during our session. I'm not a fan of cigarettes, but I adore smoke in photographs. If they're gonna do it, I'm going to help them do it pretty. Very Turkish, this one.

My lovely friend, a professional belly dancer but camera shy subject. A lot of creativity, a little encouragement, and rather a lot of whiskey went into what turned out to be a very fun session. Available light in her room.

Ha. Just having fun being coy. They have a great range of expressions.

Forgive the many images of these girls. They were wonderful and it's been awhile since I was motivated to post so many. I told them they look like Elsa and Anna. They informed me that I pronounce "Anna" wrong.

I will share several from this session, probably, since these girls were just too much fun to play with. I firmly believe in making the session its own reward -- serious fun and bonding going on, so they can't wait to play with me again. Makes me smile.

Thank you. They are 8 and 5, the youngest of 8 children. Their eldest sibling is 32 -- an amazing range. From a session I did yesterday.

These girls have never had their hair cut, and they had never had it curled before this session.
