Wife and I belong to an art association, that, among other things puts on three shows a year. I frame my prints and have them in my booth. Get lots of great comments and sometimes sell some. Very rewarding.
Gosh! Surprised to hear so few (any!) print bigger. If I can't make at least an 11 X 14 I did something wrong. I do use slower fine grain film and fine grain developers.

Got a Holga lens to fit Nikon. Only have a few shots so far, so, don't know just what I'm getting. Some of the reviews aren't great on that lens, but, for $17, what the heck, try it out. While mathematically it's an f8, with the baffles in it to give the "Holga Effect", it's more like an f22...
Minox B, Rollei 80S film. Finished the roll Saturday, developed yesterday in Microphen. Now I have two strips of Minox negatives hanging in the darkroom. Time to fire up the Minox enlarger.
That's great! I love shows of real prints in a real setting. I"m just too far to visit but wish I could. I too, do real prints - it's the only way for me.
Took this on a trip a couple of weeks ago. Old Rollei 3.5 Xenar, Ilford FP4 (not +). Printed on Kentmere VC RC. Slight contrast adjustment. Love my old Rollei! Was going to put both photos on one thread, but files too large.
I have a few meters that don't require batteries. Surprisingly, they work well. Sometimes you have to clean (VERY CAREFULLY) the contact areas on the Selienum cell.
Right! Don't take the opinions of typical on-line people too seriously. Just keep trying to improve by studying those that do good work and learn. You'll do fine!
Welcome, Jim! Sounds like we have something in common - I have been doing photography for more than 70 years. That includes all the darkroom work. Looking forward to seeing your photos and having discussion.
