It depends on the focal length of the projector lens.
Will you need to stop it down or focus it?
You can also buy focusing helicoids and diaphragms on ebay if necessary.
Fresnels are spotlights, usually with adjustable beam. Open face are generally flood lights without adjustments.
There's lots of LED lights out there too.
It's 2025 and zoom lenses are great these days! Once you try a zoom you'll love the ability to frame shots as you want them.

Go on eBay and search for a 1-1/2" (38mm) push on filter. Make sure you see it on the adapter because folks don't know how to measure. The Kodak 127mm f4.7 Ektar also uses that size.
