    Eyepiece Diopter for Nikkormat

Thanks Wilt, I can confirm the correct diopter for my prescription is -2.0D. Found one already on a well known auction site.

    Nikon 105mm f/2.5

Yes, if you want to use them on a modern Nikon body. In my case I got a Nikkormat for pre AI Lenses on film, and I have a converter to LUMIX S5 for digital.

    Nikon 105mm f/2.5

Hi Ralph, sorry for my late reply. In the UK eBay user “suncity1967” is offering a specialist machining service for pre AI lenses. This is not an endorsement of the service, I just found it when searching for lenses.

    Eyepiece Diopter for Nikkormat

Hello All, I’m looking for some help with something. A long time spotmatic user I recently bit the bullet and ordered a Nikkormat, which looks like an awesome beast of a camera. Anyway I have a -1 prescription and prefer to correct the viewfinder with a diopter, but I’m struggling to find my...

    Medium Format Folder suggestions

Hello, I have a Konica Pearl iii. Which is a very compact 645 folder with a rangefinder and four element hexar lens. You can’t beat this one for pocketability, and the lens is really good around f8-11. Portraits will include some environment (no parallax compensation) but it’s my choice for an...

Any recommendations for open source scanning software?

If you’re scanning prints or doing archive copies then the SANE CLI tool is probably what you’re after. For other applications you would be sacrificing a lot of performance in pursuit of an elegant workflow.

Any recommendations for open source scanning software?

    Smallest Medium Format Rig

You have some nice shots from the Pereko ii. Is it that smallest MF folder there is?

    Smallest Medium Format Rig

Your Super Ikonta is a thing of beauty. I have a Moskva 5 which copied the natty rf design with the rotating wedge. Sadly the shutter kicks like a mule.

    Smallest Medium Format Rig

Hi Dan, I’ll have to get back to you on the lens quality as my developing tanks are in storage. I’ll let you know after the weekend.

    Smallest Medium Format Rig

Hi Dan, I’ve had a few folders in the past but for me the RF makes all the difference as my guesswork is sometimes off. The Pearl’s RF is tiny but it works well and the whole kit is pocketable. My other MF camera is a Mamiya C2, which was a bit of a workout around town.

    Smallest Medium Format Rig

Hello Everyone, I have recently invested in a Konica Pearl iii 645 folder, and fitted it with a small shoe meter and a push-on hood. I now have the smallest medium format setup I have ever used. A Perfect street shooter. Any one else with a similar portable setup?

Using Epson variable height carrier on older scanners

Hello All, I wondered if anyone is successfuly using the newer variable height Epson 120 carrier (v800 etc) on older scanners like the 4490? I was originally looking to invest in a Doug Fisher neg carrier for 120 but I just discovered that betterscanning.com is now inactive. Thx
