Zabriskie Point #2

4x5 silver contact print. Started revisiting my 4x5 negs from Death Valley while testing the new Adox paper and decided to keep going after I ran out. This was printed on Ilford MGIV fbg. I went for a somewhat softer look with this print...

Beautiful, Shawn. I really enjoy this print. Your split grade prints on VC paper seem every bit as good as your graded paper prints.

hi shawn

this is sweet!
i love how the trail starts in the middle
and bleeds off the edge of the page,
that, and the texture and light of it all ...

Thanks fellows! Thom, the ever so SLIGHT gain in sharpness obtained by using graded paper is becoming less and less important to me as I get better at controlling tonality through split grade printing...

I love high key images. This one is very well done. I thought looking at the thumbnail is was frozen ice but I was pleasantly surprised. Great abstract.
