Hybrid Materials & Processing

The Negative was scanned as a transparency using Epson V600 and Viewscan, no sharpening applied. The only adjustments made were made to the white and black points to avoid clipping the highlights and shadows. Output as Viewscan "RAW" .dng file.

Digital Post Processing Details

The "RAW" file was imported into Photoshop and inverted, Adjusted exposure, curves and levels as needed. After that I cleaned up any dust marks and scratches and saved the image to a Photoshop .psd file. After finishing the .psd file, I resized the image, set resolution to 72 DPI and and exported it to a jpeg file. I then closed the Photoshop file making sure that I did NOT save any changes to that file.
