Yosemite, last week

Thanks again to Per Volquartz for arranging a fun week!

This scene presented itself for a few minutes during the afternoon of a very overcast day. On a day when the place was full of tourists, this sheer cliff was one of very few without any included in the scene.

Keith great shot of one of my favorite places. Bill and I went into Yosemite the day after the storm blew through. It was Wednesday and it happened to be my birthday. We were blessed with fresh snow and very few people at Tenaya Lake. I'll post some images when I get them done. Your image makes me want to shoot color again!

Beautiful. That scale of that granite rock face is awe inspiring. No wonder the place was crawling with tourists.

All the best,
Daniel

Thanks! Here is a quickie crop to show you what I found most inspiring in this scene- the trees in Yosemite are so incredibly resilient.
