I spent a lot of time at this location in Yanagawa, Japan, working mainly with Kodak IR 4x5 and a clunky old Cambo. Out of the manly exposures I made here, this was my favourite.
Very nice. I've never used IR film but images like this put me a little closer. This would be one of my favorites also . Filter #25? Is that the Red 25?
Nice infrared! I wish I had had the chance to shoot HIE in larger formats, as it is I only have a few rolls left in the freezer. I remember reading about Yanagawa some time ago but never went to visit (a shame since I visited Fukuoka quite a bit when I was living in Kumamoto) - will definitely have to get down there the next time I'm in the area.
Yes, Kodak Wratten #25, red. That's all you needed with this film to get wood effect. Mooseontheloose, I must have been in Yanagawa a thousand times or more, as I went through it almost everyday, to get to Omuta, for 12 years. I was down in Kumamoto many, many times. Did a lot of photography in Mr. Aso.Thanks for looking everyone!
