Yagura Clouds

I have a thing for cirrus clouds. I though it tied in nicely with the image I previously posted of Surrey library. This one is from my coal mine series in Japan. I shot it on 8x10 FP4, with 240mm lens. I had to work quickly and didn't have time to compose as the clouds were not waiting for me! I quickly slapped on the wide lens with yellow filter, focused, film in and exposed. Needless to say the negative is heavily cropped. I have made a kallitype print from a copy negative.
