Handsome lad, well photographed. The grandparents should be pleased.

Was it shot with the taking lens or the viewing lens?

Super portrait. Am surprised by lack of distortion e.g. enlarged nose. What distance was camera from subject? I too use a tlr but tend to rely on enlarger to provide the required image size.

Thnaks, it was made at a distance of around a foot, maybe a foot-and-a-half (Rolleinar 2 range is ~30-50cm). The strobe kits was quite close also, a small Sunpak wired and on a stand and cranked-down to about 1/4 power even with the umbrella.

having met you< I can see this as you as a young man. reat job, I love everything about it

The grandparents will be very pleased. It's a beautiful photograph!!!

Bjorke, what a simple, fine portrait of a nice looking young man. So much better than the posed studio crap that many seem to prefer. We seem to have that approach in common in our portraiture. Check ou t some examples at my website-- www.mikesebastianphoto.com --and don't tell our fellow APUGer's that I do shoot the odd digital image or two
Best, Mike
