"Wrong" developer

I remember (stand-) developing Fomapan 400 in Rodinal 1+100 with nice results. Should be the same with Arista EDU 400.
Maybe you can try it out next time.

I've heard that stand development in dilute Rodinal does tame the grain. I may try again some time. I did a test with stock Perceptol with my last roll of Arista 400 a few months ago and as expected that smoothed it out significantly.

I'm currently working on a bulk roll of Kentmere 400 which costs the same but has been easier to work with.

There's a lot of farms and fields like this in the areas where I wander via motorcycle. Quite frequently there is very little traffic and I can stop for a photo just like this one. Might be a few minutes before a car comes along so I can get away with it
