Wrench

The lens was the front element of a Helios-44 (58mm f2). Since the Helios is a 35mm format lens, I was surprised to see that the front element covers 4x5 and slightly more. Focal lenght of the front element only is about 80mm with an aperture of about f2.7 wide open. Here I made a paper aperture which gave me f5 or so.
