What paper did you print this on, given that it originates from a colour neg? Whatever it was, you've done a damn good job. Very moody. The highlights on the sea work very well.

This print was printed in a friends darkroom, as I'm not too brilliant in the darkroom, however with his guidance this print was the result. I'm not sure what paper he used, but it was either Ilford Gallerie, or Agfa Rapid, these being his two favorite papers. But again it could be some other brand, he has so many. He is abroad at the moment but when he gets back I'll ask him. Thanks for your comments it's most appreciated.

I first heard of Porta BW for 35mm in a photo magazine about three years ago. It got good reports so I ordered about 24 rolls. I was to say the least quite pleased with the results. I do believe that Kodak has stopped production of this film. I only have about 5 rolls left, so when they have gone I suppose it's back to Ilford XP2.
