There is a great optical illusion here - well that's the way it seem to me. It is almost as if the water at the back of the picture was taken at a faster shutter speed than that at the front where it shows the slower speed candyfloss appearance of fast flowing water taken with a slow speed shutterIs 100 sec for speed of shutter a typo and it should be 1/100th?Thankspentaxuser

Nice capture, and the illusion would be caused by the water at the front being closer to the camera and moving through the frame faster, same effect when looking out a car window at speed...the road close seems to fly past, while the distant hills don't appear to move at all...at least that's my theory

Pentaxuser. Many thanks for your observation. New to this great hobby and still learning about the technics and terminology - but, having a great time. Shutter speed should read 1/100th. Cheers. Reynard923
