A rather simple scene that is beautifully handled. A lot of people could walk to this exact spot and not bother photographing it due to its less that "exciting" features. But this picture has beautiful shades and textures and is composed and exposed perfectly.

Thanks! I really appreciate your thoughtful comment. It's weird when I carry a camera; sometimes I feel compelled to raise it and take a picture, and other times I don't. I haven't been able to figure out what exactly it is that makes me want to record a scene for potential later use. One of life's great mysteries, I think.
