Brilliant stuff. Not sure I've ever seen IR done in panoramic format, but this is great. The shape emphasises the textures and shapes in this composition.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Victor you had me looking up the net for that Kurosawa ref. and I'm glad to report back that I saw the film "RAN" years ago. Now I just have to figure out a way to drop his name when next I'm talking about my photography.Gavin the XPAN II will shoot infrared but will fog the area around the spockets only.

Tex: "Ran" is fantastic but this reminded me of several scenes in "Dreams"
-check it out: it'll make the same dropping easier.
