This is probably a matter of personal taste - but I would like to see a print with the lines in the background running vertically. Other than that - I think its a great "character study", one that I am sure speaks volumes to anyone who spend anytime with cats! Good work, IMHO!
Hmmm .... "Wolf" is looking pretty serious there. He's probably plotting your punishment for taking his picture. We had a cat like that once. He was an eighteen pound pure white Angorra tomcat. He stayed with us for about four years before he left this earth. He used to go rabbit hunting in the coldest weather. I've seen him at -40, curled up in the snow beside a rabbit trail just waiting ..... Great picture !!!
How the image is tilted, makes me feel like you just dropped your camera and the shutter went off, and the cat just happened to be there. Be more careful about things like this, unless it was intended (which in this case, I feel it was not).
Well to the APUG galleries, and look forward to seeing more work!
Hadn't notice the tilt until I read the comments. A crop would rectify this and emphasise the cat. I like the tail stretching out to edge of picture. Don't ever get a 19lb male cat mad but if you do then match him against a Doberman and bet heavily on the cat. Looks a great cat.
