With Apologies to Moriyama-san

I am struggling with getting the colour balance right on my new flat screen monitor.This shot has helped a lot. I thought I had the red balance correct and was about to ask whether the snow was really that pink. Then I thought No, it's probably my monitor and it was. Dog looks great. Snow has just a hint of a red/purple but I have already reduced the red to low double figures.

Is there any hint of colour other than white in the foreground snow?

What's the small square in the bottom left which has RKE and something .com under it?
