The lith process is discussed quite extensively here on APUG, but I'll give a brief description of what I've tried. NOTE, I am only IMITATING the lith process, and have never actually worked with true lith materials. The process is pretty much the same as true lith printing, except that Caffenol does not behave in the same way with infectious development. Nonetheless, I have often found that my Caffenol prints have a lith-like appearance, so I have been treating it like a lith developer anyway. That means I'm using very dilute Caffenol developer, and I've exposed the print at nearly triple the amount for a standard print. Because it's over-exposed, I do not develop to completion, but pull the print when I'm satisfied with the blacks. The rich brown colour is actually the result of Selenium toning. Next steps for me would be to add some KBr to free up the highlights a little, and to try a little bleach and re-development to see if Caffenol responds similarly to lith developers under those conditions. Thanks for looking.
