Very stark and simple shot. The dark tree anchors it and provides the needed focal point. Also the little sticks pushing through the snow lead you into the frame.
Very nice. I particularly like the depth provided by the slightly snow obscured hillside in the rear. Lone tree shots are a favourite person subject, and this is a superb example. Well done.
